Crafted by master winemaker Gérard Bertrand and known as the "Sixth Sense", the Gérard Bertrand 6ème Sens Rosé 2024 is an organic, great value, approachable, food-friendly Southern French rosé. It is a dry rosé blended from Grenache Noir and Syrah, from the IGP Pays d'Oc in the Languedoc. The vineyards sit in the foothills of the Corbières and Minervois, where the Mediterranean climate brings plenty of sunshine. It is a fruity, fresh style that suits summer Mediterranean food.

In the glass it shows a rich rosé colour, with a fruity start on the palate.

This is a great weekend wine, and it works well as an aperitif.

About the vintage

Laboratoire Natoli's 2024 report on Languedoc-Roussillon described a wet spring, a cooler May and a mostly dry summer. Northerly winds in September helped ripening, and yields in the region were 9% lower than in 2023.

Natoli noted bright aromatics in the whites and rosés of the vintage.
